Isabelle Reynaud is an electronic producer/singer-songwriter hailing from Townsville, North Queensland. After moving to Melbourne and graduating from The Victorian College of the Arts Isabelle began writing and fronting bands around town. Slowly her passion moved into composition and production where she created her solo alt-pop project Isadoré. Over the last couple of years Isabelle has been self producing and releasing music under this name. Her most recently released EP will be her second to date and was written in Banff, Canada after receiving an invitation to attend a 5 week residency recording and writing music inspired by the feminist classic “Women Who Run With the Wolves" by Clarissa Pinkola Estés.  Isabelle continued her stay in Canada moving to Toronto where she attended Canadian Music Week performing to her first international audience. Isadoré’s most recent self produced EP has had multiple tracks played around the country including Triple J, 4ZZZ, PBS and SYN radio and built up an impressive stream count and playlist adds on Spotify. 


Since returning from Canada Isabelle has relocated back up to Townsville, North Queensland setting up a recording studio operating as a producer/sound engineer for herself and others. Isabelle was awarded a RADF grant in 2021 to film a music video for her latest release Sun Queen with local videographer Robert Crispe thanks to The Townsville City Council and Arts Queensland.  Isabelle has been busy with a diverse range of activities for the community in the arts, including recently participating in a Suicide Prevention Network initiaive where herself and 4 other artists travelled to Palm Island to conduct creative workshops with children living on the island ages 6 - 25 years. Producing and performing a popup laneway gig in a secret industrial location in Townsville. Performing and opening the Townsville NYE festival for highly celebrated artists such as Jungle Giants, Mallrat, Winston Surfshirt and Hoodrich. Isabelle received a second RADF grant in 2022 to exercise a writing intensive with local songwriters and producers which was completed over January 2022. Isabelle has just recently been awarded an Arts Queensland Individual Grant to complete her debut album set to release late 2022.  


Isabelle has worked up an impressive catalogue of composition/sound design projects for dance, theatre, performance art, film working and music collaborations over the years some of these include Dance North, TheatreinQ, Tegan Nash, Australasian Dance Association, Ulysses Dance Company and Girls Act Good, The Harp Connection, Leni Pierano, Grace Ferguson (Music Company), IKRSE (Hush Hush Records), Rose Riebl (Inni Music), ORCHA and HARRY FOX. 


Isabelle is also the other half of Comfort Royale, a new musical project with Felix Sampson which formed late 2021. The band have quickly been building momentum with two singles released, A RADF grant up their sleeve and boasts big supporting act slots such as Lime Cordiale, Thelma Plum, Haiku Hands Vera Blue, SKEGGS, Spacey Jane, Alice Ivy, San Cisco and more.
